Wombat Camp Assistant Director April 1, 2020   Application Deadline is January 31, 2020   This position has two main roles 1) Assist Wombat Camp Director in the overseeing of all Wombat Camp Activities and campers aged 9-14 and 2) Oversee all health related issues of participants and staff of both camps. Following Camp Woolman treatment procedures, this person will either directly treat health issues or injuries or coordinate and oversee other staff who are qualified to do so. This person will also utilize the standing orders of a licensed physician and/or RN, and call the RN or doctor when treatment procedures require or the medical needs of the person require a higher level of care or facility.
Wilderness and Operations Manager February 1, 2020 Application Deadline: January 31, 2020. The Wilderness and Operations Manager is a vital member of the administrative team that serves both Woolman camps – Wombat Camp (ages 9-14) and Teen Leadership Camp (ages 15-17). This person has three primary roles 1) Coordinate and oversee the logistics of Wombat Camp’s 3-day backpacking trips 2) Manage gear, transportation to and from trailheads, and backpacking safety protocols for both camps 3) Be a leader and work with Directors to oversee the successful programming of both camps. 
Wombat Camp Counselor June 18, 2020 Priority Application Deadline: March 15th, 2020 Wombat Camp Counselor candidates who are at least 20 years of age may also consider applying to be a Teen Leadership Camp Counselor. You can indicate on your application if you are interested in both roles. Being a counselor at Woolman's Summer Camp means living, working, growing, and learning as part of the Woolman community.  Wombat Camp programming is for campers aged 9-14. Counselors lead our campers in backpacking trips, silly games, arts and crafts, adventure, singing, and any other activities we can come up with as a staff! Every day is full of games, delicious vegetarian food, visiting beautiful places, swimming, learning about nature, and inspiring children to be their true selves in an accepting community where they will be celebrated. Our small size (40 campers maximum) means our Staff is a close-knit family that truly knows, understands, and supports each other as we create and share camp magic right alongside our incredible campers. Counselors are fully integrated into the life, work, and play of the Woolman campers, and your job is to enrich their experience through deep connection and joyful adventure. Counselors live with 5 campers in a cabin situated near outdoor showers and  a bathhouse. You may choose to live in a same-gendered or mixed-gendered cabin. You will facilitate learning and growth of children into a greater awareness of themselves and others, lead games and songs, manage behavior, teach activities, adorn yourself in costumes and personify characters of your own creation, and participate in the wonderful daily life of a Quaker community.  Being a counselor at camp is fun, challenging and rewarding work!

Every day is full of games, delicious vegetarian food, visiting beautiful places, swimming, learning about nature, and inspiring teens to be their true selves in an accepting community where they will be celebrated. TLC Counselors are fully integrated into the life, work, and play of the teen campers, and your job is to enrich their experience through deep connection and joyful adventure. Counselors live with campers aged  15-17 in a lodge situated on campus and team-lead backpacking trips  up to 10 days long. TLC Counselors facilitate learning and growth of teens into a greater awareness of themselves and others, lead games and songs, manage behavior, teach activities, and participate in the wonderful daily life of a small Quaker community.  Being a counselor at camp is fun, challenging and rewarding work!
Camp Kitchen Assistant Manager June 27, 2020   Application Deadline: April 1, 2020 Help create delicious wholesome food for campers and counselors! This position involves cooking for about 80 people in a high energy environment under the supervision of our Kitchen Manager. Many of our ingredients are fresh from our garden or the local co-ops, and campers often pop into the garden and kitchen to help with the process. Campers and counselors help with dishes and cleaning the kitchen daily, and every week we have a couple of parent volunteers helping out as well. Assistant Kitchen Manager spends a lot of time in the kitchen, but also gets to plug into whatever camp activities they are passionate about. There is a break in the middle of each week, when our campers are out backpacking (usually Tuesday - Thursday), but weekends are pretty busy! Room and Board provided.
