Rebecca Ambrose, Co-Clerk
Rebecca Ambrose has been a member of the Davis friends Meeting for 10 years, and has been attending Quaker meetings in various parts of CA and WI for 25 years. She brings her knowledge of running educational programs from her work as Director of the Teacher Credentialing Program at University of CA-Davis. She has come to love SFC from her years of visiting it during Quarterly Meetings and Family Work Camps.
 
Jennifer Dickey, Board Member
Jennifer Dickey is a 1978 graduate of the John Woolman school and brings along her husband of 32 years, Andrew Huang to the Woolman board of trustees. Jennifer followed JWS with a degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and has worked variously in small companies. Jennifer is currently the Executive Director for the Idaho Lives Project, a suicide prevention program aimed at giving children and their teachers coping skills for life that have proven to be effective at reducing suicide rates.
 
Andy Huang, Board Member
Andy Huang retired from an engineering career that included a diversion into university academics. He remains active as an engineering consulting.

Beth McCleary, Board Member
Beth McCleary started attending Friends Meeting and taught at a Maryland Friends high school in 1994. She was first an attender, then a member of Reno Meeting since 2000 and started attending quarterly meetings at SFC in 2005 with her two kids. Beth joined the CPFEA board 4 years ago and she own and runs her farm/ranch on the eastern front of the Sierra in Washoe Valley, Nevada.
 
Dan Shoemaker, Board Member
Dan Shoemaker brings with him to the board more than twenty years of experience in higher education, and a passion for values-driven institutions. Dan holds a Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of New Mexico, a Master’s degree in Popular Culture from Bowling Green State University, and a BA in Communications and Media Arts from Antioch College. Dan is also a 1990 alumnus of the Scholar Intern Program at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, in Atlanta, where he studied the history of the Civil Rights movement and Dr. King’s philosophy of nonviolence.
